The Think Tank studies social, economic and cultural processes affecting Roma communities, analyzing challenges and opportunities for their development. We work at the intersection of research and practical solutions to strengthen the impact of Roma initiatives and promote systemic change. Our research helps to shape effective policies, support activism and expand opportunities for the younger generation.

TETIANA STOROZHKO

Expert on Roma culture and history

He specializes in preserving historical memory and studying the Roma genocide, as well as integrating these topics into educational practices. Using oral history approaches, he records interviews and works with authentic testimonies to help preserve the cultural heritage of Roma communities.

His research activities include both local and national and international research projects, including the international ROCIT project, which aims to study the migration processes of Roma communities. Researches the formation and development of Roma civil society in Ukraine, focusing on understanding current challenges and adapting knowledge to support communities.

VIRA DRANHOI

Human rights expert

Researcher with 5 years of experience in the field of law, human rights and Roma issues. Specializes in anti-discrimination, social inclusion, and advocacy for the rights of the Roma community. She uses modern research and educational approaches for community development and legal literacy.

MARIA YASENOVSKA

Human rights expert

Experience: +25 years of work in the public sector in the field of human rights, +20 years of research and monitoring, +20 years of managing a public organization.

Several years of experience in the international organization European Disability Forum, 15
years of experience in cooperation with the Council of Europe and 10 years of membership in the coaching pool of the Youth Directorate of the Coalition for Coordination of the Coalition
Against Discrimination in Ukraine and the Coalition for the Rights of the Child in Ukraine.

More than 50 publications and studies, including reports to UN Committees More than 100
successfully implemented projects, including analytical ones.

KATERYNA DEINEKO

Human rights expert

Expert on human rights observance. She researches the formation and development of Roma civil society in Ukraine, focusing on understanding current challenges and adapting knowledge to support communities. 10 years of work in the public sector in the field of human rights. 8 years of research and monitoring. 4 years of legal practice, including pro bono.

3 years of training experience in the field of human rights, including conducting trainings for trainers. 20 prepared complaints and advocacy documents to international human rights institutions and courts (including UN Committees, Council of Europe departments, the European Court of Human Rights, and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine). 15 prepared publications and studies.

OLEXANDR PODOBRIY

Expert in countering disinformation and media literacy

Expert in countering disinformation and media literacy, developing content strategies and
managing media resources with a focus on information security.

He holds the position of content chief at the Center for Strategic Communications and
Information Security of Ukraine, works with fakes and disinformation from Russia, and researches information warfare strategy. Successfully transformed the Spravdi Telegram channel into a news resource with an audience that grew 65 times in 2 months.

A professional with experience in political journalism, familiar with the nuances of creating
content that builds trust and supports media literacy in society.

Expert in hate speech and dealing with sensitive topics.

She is an expert in hate speech and dealing with sensitive topics.

A journalist with experience in the field of human rights who specializes in covering sensitive
topics, including discrimination and hate speech against Roma communities.

An expert in analytical journalism, she works with materials that require a careful approach to issues of ethnic identity and minority rights. Additional education: Course on Analytical Journalism in Conflict (2018), Course on Academic Integrity (2020), Course on Marketing Strategies (2021). She also improved her writing skills as part of the Prometheus course (2023).
