KYRS is more than a non-governmental organization. It is a movement of young, brave and indomitable people. We choose not just to go with the flow, but to create our own paths. We help young Roma find their voice, realize themselves and change the society around them.
Our mission is to support, educate, protect rights, and promote cultural development. We work where real change is needed: in communities, in schools, on international platforms. We build bridges between generations, cultures and opportunities.
The KYRS is about the power of unity, about action instead of expectations, about the right to be yourself. We help young people unlock their potential and take a confident step into the future. We are changing the rules of the game. And this journey is just beginning.

We are a team of young Roma leaders who change society through education, culture and activism. Kherson City Roma Youth Association “KYRS” supports young people, helps in times of crisis and creates opportunities for community development. Our projects include social support, human rights protection, cultural preservation, and education.
Our initiatives are aimed at creating real opportunities for the development of the Roma community and strengthening its role in society.
