Description of the performance: “The Incredible Adventures of Rada Girl” is a magical fairy tale created at the initiative of the Kherson City Association of Young Roma in cooperation with the Kherson Academic Regional Puppet Theater. The play takes the audience to the snowy forest, where a brave Roma girl Rada and her younger brother Istvan go on a dangerous journey to save their grandmother, the owner of the most beautiful voice in the camp.

The plot: The Roma camp goes to warmer climes, but Rada stays on the monastery lawn with her grandmother and brother. Her grandmother is seriously ill, and only a magic potion from the palace of the Winter Princess Blizzard can save her. Along the way, Rada meets new friends, overcomes dangers, and fights the Old Wizard, who wants to take possession of the magic potion.

The significance of the project: This play has become an important cultural project of our organization aimed at popularizing Roma culture through theater. The story of Rada teaches children the values of courage, kindness and mutual assistance, forming a positive image of the Roma community. The Kherson City Association of Young Roma continues to create cultural projects that promote interethnic dialogue and tolerance among children.
