PRESENTATION OF THE PERFORMANCE BY ROMA YOUTH
SCHOOL OF ACTING SKILLS

Project description: The initiative was implemented to create a space for intercultural dialogue among high school students of Roma and other nationalities in the Kherson region. The project aims to overcome everyday stereotypes through theater arts.
Main activities:
- Theatre workshops for students of different nationalities.
- Joint creation of the script, music and artistic design of the performance.
- Presentation of the play “Friendship” — a story about mutual understanding between a Roma girl and her classmates.

Project implementation stages:
- Performance for preschoolers at the Puppet Theater
- Performance “Friendship” for high school students
- Planned performance for students on a professional stage
- Performance of “Friendship” at the Oleshky Special School of the Kherson Regional Council after the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination
The project is implemented with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.
